CKD: the benefits of early detection and treatment interventions

Hosted by Kidney Health Australia

Around 10 per cent of Australian adults are living with chronic kidney disease and most don’t know it! As there are often no obvious symptoms of CKD, targeted early detection of those individuals at risk is vital.

Join nephrologist Professor Andrew Mallett as he presents how to screen and detect chronic kidney disease using evidence-based assessment tools. The session will also explore current best practice treatment interventions available in primary care to stop or slow the progression of kidney disease.

RACGP and ACRRM EA hour applied for.
