Morayfield 7 Day Medical Centre - General practitioner

Due to high patient demand, we’re looking for a full-time GP to join the long-standing team at Morayfield 7 Day Medical Centre.

Morayfield 7 Day Medical Centre is a large, mixed billing centre located in a purpose built facility. The centre boasts ten doctor consult rooms with windows, three RN consult rooms, two minor operation theatres, four treatment rooms and a large waiting area. The centre is co-located with a skin cancer clinic and pathology services, as well as onsite allied health. While it sounds large, the centre maintains a great family feel. The doctors and staff have worked together for many years, with some staff being at the centre in excess of 20 years.

The doctors are supported by an exceptional administrative team and five registered nurses. The nurses have their nurse immunisation certificates, two have PAP smear qualifications, one is a diabetes educator, and all have an interest in chronic disease management. Together, the doctors and nurses support the mixed patient base ranging from elderly, young families, workers and international workers from the port.

Morayfield 7 Day Medical Centre is in a DPA approved location, suitable for International Medical Graduates. The centre is also a training practice and welcomes Registrars each semester. This is a great opportunity for any doctor interested in becoming a GP Supervisor and passing on their knowledge and skillset to future doctors.
