Medicare Understanding - Deakin University Research

Medicare and Medicare rebates are complicated. As bulk-billing rates drop, (especially in primary care), leading to rising healthcare costs down-stream, we want to understand how much the average Australian knows about their Medicare rebate.

Clinic participation is easy - simply read through and sign an Organisational Consent form and put a supplied poster up in the waiting room.

Patient participation is voluntary, and clinicians/staff will NOT need to assist with patient participation recruitment.
