Brisbane North PHN commissions services to produce the best possible health and community care system for the people in our region.
Health needs are identified through our Joint Regional Needs Assessment and ongoing engagement with our community and health system partners. Once priorities are identified, we develop solutions in partnership with stakeholders and identify opportunities to engage local service providers. At this point, we will call for tenders, then appoint the most suitable service provider.
Our tender process is undertaken in accordance with our Commissioning Principles included in our Commissioning Framework to ensure efficient, effective and transparent procurement practices, in line with the requirements of the Australian Government’s Primary Health Networks (PHN) Grant Program Guidelines.
