Enduring Assignment of Benefits workshops provide valuable learning opportunity
27 October 2026Brisbane North PHN recently delivered two interactive workshops to support residential aged care homes (RACHs) and general practices in understanding and implementing the Enduring Assignment of Benefits (eAoB) requirements.
The workshops featured an expert presentation from Wendy O’Meara from Larter Consulting, who provided an overview of the reforms, their implications and the practical steps required to achieve compliance.

Attendees also gained insights into progressing implementation, including lessons learned, common challenges and strategies for success.
A facilitated workshop session encouraged attendees to explore local implementation considerations, identify potential barriers, risks and enablers within their own settings, and develop practical action plans to support application.
Feedback highlighted the value of bringing stakeholders together to build understanding of the reforms, share solutions to implementation challenges and strengthen organisational readiness for change.
