The Health Alliance Care Collective program, currently supporting people living with complex and chronic health conditions in the Caboolture and Redcliffe regions, has commissioned Benchmarque Group to provide full day training workshops to participating Complex Care Coordinators (CCCs).

The nationally accredited courses provide the CCCs with the opportunity to increase their knowledge and skillsets in relevant areas of chronic disease management, and reflects the Care Collective's commitment to supporting the ongoing professional development of our growing team.

Two of three face-to-face workshops, focused on care planning and nutrition for chronic conditions and disease, have already taken place in March and April. Another scheduled for this May will explore the link between chronic disease and the foot.

Participants in the workshops have indicated that the training has been "very practical", introducing experienced practice nurses to new approaches and skills.

Benchmarque Group is a nationally accredited Registered Training Organisation (RTO), with extensive experience delivering a range of clinical skills courses. The workshops count towards Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours for AHPRA registration, as well as building skills as both a Complex Care Coordinator and a practice nurse.
