Brisbane North PHN Online Network
An online community where health professionals can network and engage.

Brisbane North PHN is piloting the Brisbane North PHN Online Network, a digital community that brings together groups of professionals from across the region to connect, share knowledge, and learn from one another. Through discussion forums, resource sharing, events and peer support, members can build professional relationships, exchange ideas and access practical information to support their work and improve health outcomes in our communities.
Current groups include:
- Aged Care Onsite Pharmacists
- Nurse Practitioners working in Residential Aged Care Homes
- Members of Dr. Adeli’s Aged Care Learning Collaborative
Please note: the Online Network is intended for professional collaboration and engagement only. Clinical consultations and the sharing of patient-specific information are strictly prohibited.
Joining the Online Network is easy. Simply submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) and our team will be in touch to confirm your eligibility and provide access to the relevant group(s).

The Brisbane North PHN Online Network is an online community platform used by Brisbane North PHN to connect health professionals for networking, collaboration, peer support, and resource sharing. It is not intended for clinical consultations or client case discussions.
Membership is available to eligible professionals who have completed the registration and approval process. At present the Online Network has groups for Aged Care On-site Pharmacists, Nurse Partitioners working in RACHs and members of the Aged Care Learning Collaborative. In future we hope to extend the Online Network to more cohorts.
Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI), complete the registration process when approved, and accept the Code of Conduct and consent requirements.
No. Membership of the Brisbane North PHN Online Network is provided at no cost to approved members.

Navigate to Settings > Notifications and choose how often you receive email or mobile notifications.
The platform stores and processes data in the United States. Members are advised of this during registration and consent processes.
Use the platform's reporting function by finding the post you want to report, click the three-dot menu on the post and select "More - Report Post" or you can contact your Group Facilitator. Reported content is always reviewed by the PHN.
Group Facilitators are community members who have volunteered to help encourage discussion, welcome new members, support engagement, and escalate concerns where required.
You can participate as often as you like. Many members check in weekly for discussions, resources, events, and sector updates. You can adjust your notifications to be alerted when someone responds to your question or comments.

Yes. You can stop participating at any time and request removal from the Online Network by contacting the Brisbane North PHN.
Yes. You may receive notifications, announcements, event information, and evaluation requests. Notification preferences can be changed in your settings. The PHN may also reach out to you from time to time in matters relating to the Online Network.
Yes. PHN review activity to ensure the community remains safe, professional, and compliant with the Code of Conduct.
