Allergies and Anaphylaxis program (including CPR)

This program is designed for healthcare professionals who require skills and knowledge to effectively manage allergic or anaphylactic reactions and will equip participants with the necessary expertise to handle emergency situations, ensuring a safe and responsive environment.

The program includes the nationally accredited compentency HLTAID0009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

Participants will gain the knowledge and confidence to perform CPR on adults, children, and infants.

Key topics covered in the course:

• RSABCD action plan
• appropriate emergency responses
• handling unconscious casualties
• performing CPR, and using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
