Brisbane North PHN invites you to meet CarerHelp, the project preparing Australian families to care.
When someone has an advanced disease, they often rely on their family to provide the majority of the day-to-day care. However, families are often unprepared for this role.
CarerHelp provide online resource support for Australian families caring for someone with an advanced disease. CarerHelp has practical information on end-of-life care topics including:
There are factsheets, useful templates and videos of both carers sharing their experiences and health professionals explaining key topics.
This online presentation will introduce CarerHelp resources and support available.
