Enhancing Early Detection: The Latest in Cancer Screening

This cancer screening updates webinar will provide GPs and practice staff with an opportunity to get up to speed with the latest on the cervical and bowel cancer screening clinical guidelines. We’ll discuss recent changes to the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program, including lowering the recommended screening age, the rationale behind the changes, and tips for how you can talk to your patients about bowel screening in clinical practice.

We’ll also have an in-depth look at changes coming in April to the National Cervical Screening Program guidelines, including changes to test of cure, screening after hysterectomy and screening for those who are immunosuppressed. An overview of the National Cancer Screening Register, the benefits of integration with clinical software, and how to utilise the register in practice to support our cancer screening programs will also be discussed, before an extended panel discussion.
