MQF - General practitioner

We want to provide 10 hours of onsite GP appointments to our team members based at Banyo. We have 1100 employees. We pay for GP appointments for our team, within work time, at work.

• we require A GP for two half days (one morning and one afternoon) OR a full day 7.30 am - 5.00 pm Monday - Thursday
• we have a large, diverse working group so the ability to relate to different people is very important
• due to our demographic and cultural sensitivities, we are seeking a female GP
• a scope of practice would need to be agreed on
• you would be paid by the business, not individual patients
• you must be familiar with managing workplace injuries, and have the ability to bill Workcover as needed (we have low injury rates, currently two active claims)
• you must have the ability to work collaboratively with the injury management team and onsite physio for best patient outcomes
• an interest in musculoskeletal injuries, good mental health and a lifestyle medicine approach would be strongly encouraged
• it would be important to have continuity of service in this position – so locking in the same practitioner every week

We would like to set up an arrangement with a clinic and GP. The clinic would receive all Medicare rebates, in addition to $200 per hour paid by the business. The intention for this partnership would be similar to an arrangement clinics may have with aged care facilities to perform ongoing home visit arrangements.
