About the role

In this role, our general practitioner will be vital in providing the expected high-quality healthcare services to patients, while also ensuring best practice standards.

Your duties will include, but not be limited to:

• independently providing preventive care and health counselling
• diagnosing/treating illnesses and prescribing medications
• developing personalised treatment plans
• ordering/interpreting diagnostic tests and screenings
• maintaining medical records and coordinating specialist referrals
• mentoring students and registrars (optional).

What we’re looking for

• full Australian working rights – essential
• unrestricted AHPRA registration – essential
• FRCGP, FARGP or RG fellowship – essential (VR with 19AB restriction can apply)
• current Police and Working with Children checks (preferable)
• excellent communication and organisational skills.
