Join our friendly, supportive team in a well-equipped clinic. We are a private billing clinic (bulk billing children under 12)McDowall Family Medical Centre is seeking an experienced registered nurse to be a part of our friendly team of doctors, receptionists and nursing staff.
Key responsibilities include:
- vaccinations - adult and babies ,handling emergencies and triage,procedures including Venesection’s and Biopsies
- ECG, Spirometry, AUDIOMETER and ABI, ear syringing, wound management, sterilisation of instruments
- health management including health assessments , inventory and stock management.
Applicants :
- previous practice nurse experience in a GP practice - preferred but not essential
- a good working knowledge of Windows, MS Office. Experience with Best Practice and previous accreditation experience will be an advantage
- excellent organisational and time management skills
- high level interpersonal skills to relate well to patients, staff and health care professionals
- passion for your role to take pride in seeing the service grow and be successful.
