Clayfield Family Clinic is seeking a patient-centric and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a part-time Practice Coordinator.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

• support the daily successful running of the medical centre
• overseeing medical receptionists and nurses
• assisting medical practitioners in administration to help offer excellence in patient care
• managing the team roster and ensuring all areas of the practice are staffed appropriately
• submitting accurate timesheets to payroll for payroll functions
• maintain a working knowledge of all equipment used in the clinic
• maintain an up-to-date knowledge of MBS billing
• maintain and update knowledge with regards to General Practice Accreditation
• liaising with external health care professionals
• compliance with RACGP 5th Edition standards for General Practice
• ensure patient privacy and confidentiality is maintained at all times
• preparation of meaningful and timely financial reports as required by support office
• PIP and WIP practice stream maintenance, reporting and updating.

The Person

The successful applicant will have:

• previous general practice experience, minimum of 1 year in a medical centre
• good working knowledge of computerised practice management software (Pracsoft/Medical Director/HotDoc)
• excellent organisational and time management skills
• high level of interpersonal skills and an ability to relate well to patients, staff and health care professionals
• passion for assisting in proving excellence in health care and compassion.
