Working closely with our doctors and practice team, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the day-to-day operations of our busy general practice.
Key responsibilities
- assisting doctors with clinical procedures and patient care
- supporting immunisation programs and preventative healthcare
- providing wound care, dressings and other nursing treatments
- assisting with chronic disease management, care plans and health assessments
- maintaining infection control, sterilisation and cold chain management standards
- performing clinical procedures, including ECGs and spirometry
- participating in quality improvement activities
- maintaining accurate clinical documentation and supporting efficient practice operations.
About you
- current registered nurse registration with AHPRA
- a current CPR certificate
- previous general practice nursing experience
- the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- a caring, patient-centred and collaborative approach to healthcare
- strong multitasking, problem-solving and time management skills
- an enthusiastic, flexible and positive attitude.
