Generations Medical - Practice nurse

Generations Medical is a well-established, GP owned practice committed to delivering high quality, multi-disciplinary healthcare to our community and beyond. Located in St Lucia, we take pride in our friendly team environment and patient centred approach. As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for either an Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team.

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and compassionate practice nurse to be an integral part of our clinic and patient care. You will be joining our existing nursing team of four and will work alongside our experienced GPs and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive nursing support and enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities include:

• provide personalised, high quality nursing care to patients of all ages
• Chronic Disease Management Plans
• health assessments
• wound care
• assisting with minor procedures
• ECGs and holter monitoring
• iron infusions
• vaccine management
• immunisations
• provide guidance and support to patients and their families in navigating the healthcare system.

Requirements:

• current Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) registration with AHPRA
• prior experience in a general practice, primary care or a similar healthcare setting
• willingness to learn Chronic Disease + CVC, DVA Management (if not already experienced)
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and team members
• ability to multitask, manage and prioritise workloads
• excellent computer literacy and quick to learn new programs
• experience using Best Practice software is highly regarded.
