3SPM Medical - General practitioner

3SPM Medical is seeking an experienced VR general practitioner to join our State-of-the-art clinic. Significant patient growth and current GP is consistently operating at full appointment capacity, resulting in patient being offered appointment on alternative days or at the next available appointment time.

Locum job option available for 3-6 months at $200 AUD per hour.

About the role

In this role, our general practitioner will be vital in providing the expected high-quality health care services to patients, while also ensuring best practice standards.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

• independently providing preventive care and health counselling
• diagnosing/treating illnesses and prescribing medications
• developing personalised treatment plans
• ordering/interpreting diagnostic tests and screenings
• maintaining medical records and coordinating specialist referrals
• mentoring students and registrar (optional).

What we're looking for

• full Australian working rights essential
• unrestricted AHPRA registration essential
• FRCGP, FARGP or RG fellowship essential, VR with 19AB restriction can apply
• current Police and Working with Children checks (preferable)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
