Medicare Mental Health centres in the Brisbane north region

The centres will be staffed by teams of highly qualified mental health professionals and people with lived mental health experience. No Medicare card, appointment or GP referral is required to access the free services which will provide immediate, short and medium-term care to adults.

Integrated Mental Health Hubs commissioned by Brisbane North PHN in Caboolture, Strathpine and inner-north Brisbane will transition to the MMHC model, with a new service to be established in Redcliffe.

Key features of the Medicare Mental Health Centres

Medicare Mental Health can connect you, or someone you care for, to mental health support.

The Medicare Mental Health phone service operates 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). Callers after hours will have the option to leave a message and receive a call back the next business day. Please note that Medicare Mental Health is not a crisis service.
