UniSC Clinical Trials

UniSC Clinical Trials is working with Chugai on a phase IC, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter study to evaluate the safety, pharmacokinetics, immunogenicity, and biological effects of DONQ52 in celiac disease patients with gluten challenge.

The trial will be overseen by Principal Investigator Indika Leelasena at our Morayfield clinic in Moreton Bay and supported by our experienced clinical trials staff.

We are seeking applications from people who:

  • are aged between 18 and 70 years
  • have a BMI between 18 and 35
  • have medically diagnosed coeliac disease such as a positive coeliac serology or biopsy
  • have been on a gluten free diet for at least 12 months prior to screening
  • have experienced at most, mild symptoms of coeliac disease within the month before screening
  • can complete a daily eDiary for approximately three months
  • can attend 13 visits at our Morayfield clinic over sixmonths

If you have any patients who meet the criteria for eligibility, we would appreciate you considering them for participation in this study. Please do not hesitate to contact us on 07 5456 3872 for further information.
