Psychologists’ perspectives on culturally responsive engagement with Indian-background clients in Australia
Monash University
This Monash University study explores how registered and provisionally registered psychologists in Australia understand and approach culturally responsive practice with Indian-background clients (even if they have no experience working with this population group). The study examines approaches to care, engagement, adaptations to practice, and factors that may shape psychologists’ preparedness and culturally responsive practice.
