Prediabetes and Type 2 Diabetes in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children and Youth Primary Health Care Survey

Children’s Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CHQ HHS) invite primary health care providers to complete a short survey on current prevention, screening and management practices for prediabetes and type 2 diabetes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people aged 10-18.
CHQ HHS are conducting a needs analysis to improve the prevention, early diagnosis and management of prediabetes and type 2 diabetes in Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and youth. The aim of this survey is to understand current prevention, screening and management practices for prediabetes and type 2 diabetes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people aged 10-18. The results of this need analysis will inform strategies to improve the prevention and management of prediabetes and type 2 diabetes in Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and youth and enhance better integration between primary health care and hospital services.
The survey will only take ten minutes to complete and closes on Friday 19 August 2022.
