Sharon Sweeney

Executive Manager | Aged and Community Care System Improvement

Sharon is an experienced health service manager whose career over thirty years has spanned public sector, private sector and non-government organisations.

Sharon has a Master of Population Health degree, Master of Health Services Management degree, is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Health Service Management and an Adjunct Associate Professor in the School of Medicine at Griffith University.

As Executive Manager – Aged and Community Care System Improvement, she develops strategic and collaborative approaches to support a more integrated system of care that centres on the needs of the consumer, with a particular focus on aged and community care. She is highly committed to person-centred, value-based healthcare that delivers equitable and effective population health outcomes.
