Communicating about suicide - Mindframe Plus
When communicating about suicide it's important to remember that suicide is a complex issue and is often not preceded by a single event or condition.
Accurate information about suicide is important to identify those who may need more support and to debunk common myths about suicide.
The PHN will join Mindframe Plus for an online workshop on communicating safely about suicide on Thursday 29 August from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm.
Suicide prevention flyers
The PHN has developed a range of flyers covering specialist supports and services available within the North Brisbane and Moreton Bay region.
Feedback provided from our engagement with communities and organisations highlighted the need to provide people with community awareness of services available. You can download information about where you, your loved one or someone you work with can go for help.
