Cancer screening guide for clinicians

During Brisbane North PHN's 2024 Cancer Screening initiative, Rhiannon, a Registered Nurse at Albany Clinic produced a great Cancer Screening awareness poster for the patients at her practice.

Her creative visual resource inspired the PHN to develop two new cancer screening resources that are now being widely used by clinicians in our region: a clinician card and a patient information brochure.

The new resources have gained much positive attention, and the feedback to Brisbane North PHN has been overwhelming, with many GPs and Registered Nurses expressing how valuable and practical these resources have become in their daily work.

Rhiannon's work is a great example of how her contribution has had a meaningful impact not only on her patients but also the wider Brisbane North community.

Her efforts have enhanced both knowledge sharing and sound clinical practice and had a positive impact on patient care in our region.

Brisbane North PHN acknowledge Rhiannon's dedication and expertise in continuous quality improvement and thank her for her contributions.
