Caring around grief and dying
16 April 2025Brisbane North PHN is continuing to support our community to navigate and engage in important conversations about death, dying and grief.
Brisbane North PHN has sponsored Palliative Care Queensland to conduct free, introductory courses to help build skills and confidence when caring for people who are dying or grieving.
These short online courses are open to anyone living and or working in the North Brisbane and Moreton Bay region. No experience or experience with palliative care is required.

How to have conversations about grief and dying
This 60-minute online education course provides practical tips on how to have caring and compassionate conversations with loved ones, colleagues, neighbours or friends about an area of life we often avoid.

Children, young people and teenagers experience grief too.
This 60-minute online education course highlights the importance of, and provides tips on, having simple and honest conversations with children and teenagers about serious illness, dying, death and grief.

Self-care
Caring for yourself is just as important as caring for others.
This 60-minute online education course highlights the role of self-care and provides ideas and strategies to incorporate self-care in your life.
