Brisbane North PHN has successfully obtained recertification for its Information Security Management System (ISO27001:2022), marking a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to providing robust information systems and data security you can trust.

This certification, granted by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO), acknowledges the PHN’s adherence to rigorous information security management standards. Through meticulous planning and collaboration across the organisation the PHN developed and implemented a comprehensive range of policies and procedures aligned with the ISO 2700:2022 requirements. This involved conducting thorough risk assessments, managing robust access controls, and maintaining monitoring mechanisms to detect and respond to cybersecurity threats promptly.

Achieving ISO27001 certification is not without its challenges and not only validates the PHN’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of information security but also positions the organisation as a trailblazer in cybersecurity. By setting this precedent we aim to inspire other organisations to prioritize data security and embark on their own journey towards ISO 27001 certification.

"This achievement underscores our unwavering dedication to protecting our sensitive information and upholding the highest standards of cybersecurity. We believe that by leading by example, we can drive positive change and empower organisations to fortify their defences against evolving cyber threats."

Brisbane North PHN CEO, Libby Dunstan
