Navigating conversations about grief and dying
11 February 2025Conversations about death and grief are important.
Open conversations have been shown to improve the wellbeing of a person with a life-limiting condition, their loved ones, and their care team. It can also improve the care they receive and reduce the cost of that care.
Most people, however, do find these conversations hard.
Brisbane North PHN has sponsored Palliative Care Queensland to conduct free, introductory courses to help build skills and confidence in having these often difficult conversations.
These short online courses are open to anyone living and or working in the North Brisbane and Moreton Bay region. No experience with palliative care is required.
