Clinical Assessment for School Nurses

In this two-day workshop, nurses will develop the skills and knowledge required to work as a school nurse. In the workshop, individuals will participate in a range of scenarios and practical skills activities based on common presentations in the school environment.

Learning outcomes:

On successful completion of the course, school nurses will have a range of skills and knowledge that can be implemented immediately, including:

• creating a safe space for student engagement
• clinical skills practice
• clinic setup and nursing self-care.
