CPD event: Early diagnosis of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA)
Hosted by PHN Murrumbidgee
Hosted by Brisbane North PHN and Medical Business Services
Brisbane North PHN is inviting medical receptionists and front-of-house practice staff to attend a practical webinar focused on recognising patient urgency and responding safely in a general practice setting.
Presented by Riwka Hagen from Medical Business Services, this interactive session is designed specifically for non-clinical staff and will support participants to identify common warning signs, gather relevant information, and escalate concerns appropriately to clinical team members.
Participants will explore the POPGUNS framework for prioritising patients, structured questioning techniques, effective communication of urgency, and practical approaches to common phone and face-to-face scenarios.
