Sante Medical - Medical receptionist

Sante Medical is seeking an experienced senior medical receptionist to join our friendly team in Paddington, QLD. This full-time role (could be the option to work 4-5 days per week) will see you playing a crucial administrative and customer service function within our growing medical practice.

What you'll be doing

• warmly greeting and assisting patients upon arrival
• scheduling appointments and managing the practice's booking system
• liaising with patients to obtain necessary information and documentation
• handling medical billing, payments, and insurance claims
• providing general administrative support to the medical staff
• maintaining a high level of confidentiality and attention to detail
• contributing to a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment

What we're looking for

• minimum 2 years' experience in a similar medical receptionist or administrative role
• strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with patients from diverse backgrounds
• excellent written and verbal English skills
• proficient in using medical practice management software (Best Practice experience essential) and Microsoft Office suite
• sound knowledge of medical terminology, billing, and insurance processes
• proactive, organised, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• commitment to providing exceptional customer service
