Sunshine Skin Clinic is looking for a permanent part time medical receptionist. We are a dedicated skin cancer clinic serving the community in North Brisbane for seven years. We proud ourselves in quality care and great working environment.


Medical receptionist job responsibilities:







  • welcomes patients and visitors in person or on the telephone, and answering referral inquiries
  • managing files and patient information to ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times
  • undertaking scanning, faxing, and importing and photocopying tasks when required
  • ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records
  • correct billing with complex skin cancer item numbers
  • maintaining a well organised, clean, efficient and confidential work space and assisting with end of day tidying and restocking.


Work hours and benefits:








  • two days a week and one Saturday a month
  • cover for sick leaves and annual leaves.
Medical receptionist skills/qualifications:
  • excellent communication and customer service skills
  • ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task
  • an understanding of Best Practice an advantage but not essential.

Training available, experience preferred
