Medical receptionist – Skin and Cosmetic clinic – Ascot.
Are you an organised, proactive, and mature individual looking to join a fast-paced healthcare environment. We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our collaborative, close-knit team of four practitioners.
About Us:
Our team of specialists and cosmetic nurses work closely with our reception staff to ensure a smooth, efficient experience for both patients and clinicians.
About you:
You will enjoy working independently as well as being part of a busy team and have an interest in the medical and aesthetic industry.
What We’re Looking For:
• an enthusiastic, well presented, mature, quick thinker who remains calm under pressure|
• strong organisational and multitasking skills
• excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team
• ability to work independently and collaboratively in a busy environment
• medical reception experience preferred (but not essential
• familiarity with medical software and Medicare processes (preferred)
• a friendly, compassionate demeanour with a strong focus on patient service
• must have full working rights in Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
• welcoming and assisting patients with professionalism and care
• managing calls and emails, responding to queries, and scheduling appointments
• processing patient registrations, billing, and Medicare claims
• coordinating appointments and follow-ups with specialists, nurses, and patients
• handling confidential medical information with discretion and professionalism
• adapting quickly to daily practice needs and prioritising tasks efficiently.
