Part-time (0.6 FTE) | Flexible work days | $124 per hour + on-call Practise medicine at its most human. ForGenerations Medical is a well-established, GP-owned, boutique medical practice delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in a warm and supportive environment. We’re currently seeking an experienced medical receptionist to join our friendly front-desk team.
About the practice:
- elegant, modern clinic
- 15 GP practice with allied health and pathology on site
- supportive, close-knit team culture
- Monday–Friday clinic hours (no weekends or public holidays).
About the role:
- As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll play a key role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience.
Responsibilities include:
- welcoming and checking in patients
- appointment scheduling and managing patient records
- billing, accounts and Medicare processing
- liaising with doctors, nurses and allied health
- maintaining accurate computer-based records
- delivering warm, professional customer service.
About you:
- previous medical reception experience essential (Best Practice highly regarded but not essential)
- well-presented, punctual and professional
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- ability to multitask and work well in a team
- current CPR certificate
- roster flexibility
