As part of our commitment to developing lasting relationships, the Brisbane North PHN Board recently hosted a networking event, inviting some of the PHN’s key service providers who deliver multiple contracts and critical services to the North Brisbane and Moreton Bay region.
The event, held on Wednesday 18 May, was attended by 18 board members and senior managers across eight organisations, and was a welcome opportunity to meet face-to-face given the challenges experienced by the COVID-19 pandemic over the last two years.
The event was an opportunity for informal learning and discussion, allowing the PHN Board to understand the challenges of working within the community. It also gave the PHN and each of the organisations the chance to learn from each other’s successes and areas of expertise.
Dr Anita Green, Chair of the Brisbane North PHN Board expressed gratitude to the CEOs and Board Chairs and their delegates who attended, for their continued dedication and commitment to delivering the best outcomes for our community.
“On behalf of Brisbane North PHN and its Board I would like to thank our providers for their enormous effort over the last couple of years.
“We acknowledge that they too have experienced great challenges in the face of COVID, and at a time when our community has needed support more than ever, they have stepped up to the plate.
“Through perseverance and resilience our providers continue to be instrumental in the delivery of much needed services to communities within the North Brisbane and Moreton Bay region.”
The event allowed the PHN Board of Directors and providers to discuss the challenges and opportunities and strengthen our ongoing commitment to working in partnership. Events such as these helps spark ideas, strengthen ties and identify opportunities to continue to work together to achieve our shared goals.
“Brisbane North PHN values our partnerships with these organisations, whose mission and values complement those of the PHN. Together we can create and deliver the best possible health and community care system for the people of our region.”
