Brisbane North PHN is inviting tenders from eligible organisations to establish and operate a Safe Space for people in emotional distress and/or suicidal crisis, in Redcliffe from June 2022.
The Safe Space model of service delivery has been developed using a consultative process with lived experience representatives and health service providers in the respective catchment areas of North Brisbane.
Three of the four planned safe spaces in the Brisbane North PHN region have already been procured to operate in the Caboolture, Strathpine, and Inner Brisbane catchments of region.
The Redcliffe safe space is being commissioned to complete the network of safe spaces in the region and will operate as a member of the broader regional network of safe space locations, which is also under development.
The Redcliffe Safe Space Tender is open now and closes 5.00 pm Wednesday 2 March 2022. Tenders are invited via the Brisbane North PHN Tenderlink website.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians within our region: the Jagera, Turrbal, Gubbi Gubbi, Waka Waka and the Ningy Ningy peoples of where we meet, work and learn. Brisbane North PHN is committed to reconciliation. Our vision for reconciliation is where the stories of our First Nations’ people are heard and shared, and networks are formed.
