Bribie Doctors - Practice nurse

Bribie Doctors located on beautiful Bribie Island is seeking an experienced registered nurse to be a part of our friendly team of doctors, receptionists and nursing staff located across our three clinics on Bribie Island.

Key responsibilities include:

• wound management
• vaccinations - adult and babies
• handling emergencies and triage
• procedures including Venesection’s and Biopsies
• ECG, Spirometry, Holter's and ABI
• ear syringing
• sterilisation of instruments
• health management including health assessments
• inventory and stock management.

Applicants must have:

• previous practice nurse experience in a GP practice - preferred but not essential
• a good working knowledge of Windows, MS Office
• experience with Best Practice and previous accreditation experience will be an advantage
• excellent organisational and time management skills
• high level interpersonal skills to relate well to patients, staff and health care professionals
• passion for your role to take pride in seeing the service grow and be successful.
