We are a small team of GPs and support staff seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable EN or RN to join our long-established practice.

What we offer

• no weekend work – ever!
• 14–24 hours per week
• availability required on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm
• additional hours may be available for holiday and sick leave coverage.

Arana Hills Medical Centre is a long-standing private billing clinic with a strong commitment to education and mentoring. For more than 30 years, we have welcomed medical students and GP registrars into our practice, and more recently, nursing students as well.

Must haves - the tried and true

• GP clinic experience
• be a reliable team player
• current AHPRA registration
• current CPR certification
• ability to work under pressure and excellent time-management skills
• should be familiar with Best Practice software (or similar) and HotDoc
• interest in chronic disease management and treatment room optimisation
• ve availability to work varied hours at least on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 7:30 am - 6 pm.

Responsibilities - the usual suspects

• patient triage, wound management and assisting with minor procedures (excisions, IUD etc)
• administering injections including childhood and travel immunisations and Covid-19
• daily co-ordination of the treatment room including stock control, sterilisation, diary management
• experience in chronic disease management and health assessments
• cold chain management and infection control
• general treatment room duties including IV infusions, ECG, spirometry, ear syringing etc
• recalls and health reminders.
