Focus on the patient experience – creating great places to receive care
Hosted by Studer Group Australia
Hosted by Brisbane North PHN
Brisbane North PHN’s GP Workforce Planning and Prioritisation (WPP) team have been engaging with general practice stakeholders in our region to help inform the future of Australia’s GP workforce.
Consultation has taken place to validate and sense check our initial assessments for workforce need and training capacity, for each GP Catchment area within our PHN region, and the team have adjusted priority groupings and recommendations based on the feedback provided.
In advance of submitting the Workforce Needs and Training Capacity Report 3 at the end of June, the team would like to present to you the final outputs and an additional chance to provide feedback.
There will be a virtual stakeholder forum held on Thursday 23 May between 12:30-1:30 pm so that you can learn the placement of your GP Catchment area and provide insights that can be incorporated into the report.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians within our region: the Jagera, Turrbal, Gubbi Gubbi, Waka Waka and the Ningy Ningy peoples of where we meet, work and learn. Brisbane North PHN is committed to reconciliation. Our vision for reconciliation is where the stories of our First Nations’ people are heard and shared, and networks are formed.
