Kidney Supportive Care Masterclass
Hosted by Metro North Kidney Health Service
Commencing in 2024, the Metro North Hospital and Health Service is hosting the Inaugural Australian Kidney Supportive Care Masterclass that will occur yearly, rotating between Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney. The program will cover core curriculum of Kidney Supportive Care and is aimed at any interdisciplinary health professional or academic who has an interest or is working with those living with advanced kidney disease.
The 2024 program is featuring local, national, and international expert speakers on topics related to the provision of Kidney Supportive Care including:
- fundamentals of kidney supportive care
- conservative (non-dialysis) management
- shared decision making
- moral distress in nephrology clinicians
- serious illness communication frameworks
- complex symptom management and much more
