Transforming Care: Launch of Health Pathways in Adult Trans Health and Gender-Affirming Hormone Therapy

ASHM and Brisbane South PHN are proud to collaborate on the launch of the following Health Pathways:

  • Gender-affirming hormones
  • Transgender Health and Gender Diversity in Adults

The Pathways are designed to support General Practitioners (GPs) in providing inclusive, evidence-based care for trans and gender diverse patients aged 18 and over.

This GP-focused session will cover both the initiation and ongoing management of GAHT, equipping clinicians with the knowledge and confidence to support their patients effectively. The session will include case-based discussions to explore real-world scenarios, clinical considerations, and best practices in gender affirming care.

Target audience

General practitioners and other healthcare professionals providing or involved in GAHT in Queensland.
