What are the institutional barriers preventing healthcare workers from providing care?

The survey aims to identify and understand the various obstacles that healthcare professionals encounter, which hinder their ability to deliver the best possible care to their patients. The results of this research will contribute to developing strategies to mitigate these barriers and enhance patient care quality.

  • participation criteria: you are a healthcare worker (medical doctor, nurse, allied health professional) in Australia.
  • time required: the survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
  • confidentiality: your responses will be kept strictly confidential, and all data will be anonymized to protect your identity.
  • voluntary participation: participation in this survey is entirely voluntary, and you may withdraw at any time without any consequences.
  • incentive: complete the survey for a $100 gift card prize draw (3 available).

This study has obtained human research ethics approval from The University of Queensland Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences (Project Number 2024/HE000117) on 30 May 2024.
