Skin Deep: Multidisciplinary skin cancer workshop

Metro North Health and Brisbane North PHN invite GPs from across Queensland to join us for the Multidisciplinary Skin Cancer workshop.

The workshop will be held as interactive full day in person event including a range of multidisciplinary presentations, case studies and interactive skills stations presented by the Metro North Dermatology, Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery, Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology teams.

Topics will include:

• a diagnostic approach to skin lesions
• non-melanoma skin cancer identification and management of surgically significant lesions
• multidisciplinary management of complex patients
• multidisciplinary panel
• biopsy considerations and suturing challenges
• wound management and after care in general practice
• medical and radiation oncology case studies
• an update on melanoma and immunotherapy

This interactive session will be held face to face. Onsite registration opens at 8 am for an 8.30 am start.

You will receive 3.0 Education Activities and 3.0 Reviewing Performance hours for participation in the full workshop.
