Burpengary East Medical Centre and Skin Cancer Clinic is a private billing medical practice that offers wide range of Skin Cancer and Cosmetic Skin Services to our patients. We require a casual medical receptionist to join our team.

About the role - Casual position

• a high standard of customer service skills is expected and the ability to work well in a team is required
• a strong patient focus, attention to detail with time management skills
• you will require immaculate presentation, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, professional conduct and exceptional phone manner to be successful in this role
• previous experience in Best Practice software is desirable, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Flexible hours and weekend work on rota basis.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• answering incoming phone calls and assisting with enquiries
• manage patient bookings and appointments
• Medicare and private billing administrative work
• general administration including updating patient records, attaining relevant documents and managing incoming/outgoing correspondence to other medical practitioners
• timely and accurate communication with practice doctors and patients.
