Toowong GP Super clinic is looking for a General Practitioner to join our practice in the trendy inner-city suburb ofThe Inclusive Health and Wellness Hub is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in general practice to work in a treatment room serving vulnerable populations, including individuals experiencing homelessness in Brisbane. The clinic provides access to physical, dental, mental health, and holistic care.
This role involves working three days a week, with pay based on RN experience, in line with the Nurses Award 2020 and the QLD Nurses and Midwives EB11 agreement.
Essential Criteria:
- current, unrestricted AHPRA registration
- minimum 2 years' experience in general practice
- immunisation endorsement
- proficiency in Best Practice software and general computer literacy
- current CPR certification and Covid immunisation certificate
- Eligibility to work in Australia with evidence of required healthcare worker vaccines
- strong organisational, time management, and communication skills
- ability to work independently and within a treatment room environment
Duties:
- vaccine administration and cold chain management
- post-vaccination monitoring and patient triage
- assisting GPs with minor procedures such as iron infusions, wound care, and sutures removal
- health education and support for patients
- managing clinical data, recalls, and reminders
- assisting with health assessments and care plans
- diagnostics (ECG, spirometry), ear irrigation, and infection control
- stock control and contribution to RACGP accreditation
Desirable:
- venepuncture competence
- experience in AOD and mental health
