Enrolled Nurse/Registered Nurse required in dedicated Skin Cancer Clinics at Nundah, Mitchelton and Warner

Melanoma Scan is an established, dedicated, busy skin cancer clinic focused on exceptional and expert patient care. Within our modern facilities and with the aid of the latest equipment, our practice values qualified experience, utilised in the thorough skin examination and treatment of all our patients. We perform skin cancer surgery, from simple to more complex procedures when required.

About the role

We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse/ Registered Nurse to work 4-5 per week. You will be confident in your ability to manage a busy schedule in a positive and enthusiastic manner.

The role includes:

• theatre assisting
• post operative management
• skin photography
• co-ordinate clinical rooms
• maintain and order stock
• sterilise equipment
• maintain clinical equipment and room standard
• provide education to patients relevant to their skin cancer assessment/management

Skills and experience:

• current AHPRA Nurse registration
• previous clinical practice experience (not necessarily in a skin cancer clinic)
• enthusiastic, positive and proactive
• caring and compassionate
• exceptional communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
• excellent computer skills
• experience/ interest in patient education
• experience with Best Practice is an advantage
• experience with PDT machines an advantage but not a requirement as full training is offered.
