Paving the way forward for a stronger primary care response to domestic and family violence

Hosted by Safer Families Centre

We invite people working in primary care or health services, people with lived experience, policy makers and researchers for a morning of interactive discussion.

Join us as The Hon. Ged Kearney, Assistant Minister for Health and Aged Care releases the final report from The Readiness Program and launches the Women's Emotional Well-being (WEB) project.

Aims of the day:

  • Discuss findings and implications from domestic and family violence training for the primary care workforce - includes release of The Readiness Program final report.
  • Learn about a world-first research trial to generate evidence of outcomes for women victim-survivors from a novel primary care system response - the Women's Emotional Well-being (WEB) project.
  • Understand the role of Safer Families Centre, and current opportunities for further training, research and collaboration.
